High school students or students looking to change their academic path (including those with apprentice status) who wish to enroll in the first year of higher education must put together a file and submit application choices on Parcoursup.
The following are not concerned:
- Students repeating their first year (they must re-enroll directly at their institution)
- International applicants subject to a preliminary admission request (DAP)
- Applicants who only wish to apply to foreign higher education programs (they must contact directly the programs they are interested in)
- Students who wish to resume the program in which they were enrolled at the end of their gap period (they have a right to reintegration or re-enrollment at the end of their gap year)
People who have already held the baccalauréat or an equivalent diploma for several years and who wish to enroll as part of a career advancement, retraining, or return-to-work process are more likely to be supported by continuing education providers.
