What is the Parcoursup complementary phase?
The Parcoursup complementary phase is a second application window, open from 11 June to 10 September 2026. It allows candidates without an admission offer to make up to 10 new application choices in programmes that still have places available.
Who can apply?
The complementary phase is available if you are in one of these situations:
- You received no offer during the main phase
- You received only "No" responses
- You wish to apply to programmes that you had not chosen initially
- You left the procedure and want to return to it
Which programmes can you apply to?
To programmes that have places still available after the main phase. The list is updated in real time on Parcoursup from 11 June.
You can apply to programmes of any type: universities, engineering schools, BTS, BUT, business schools, etc.
⚠️ You cannot apply to programmes to which you had already applied during the main phase.
How many application choices can you make?
Up to 10 application choices in total during the complementary phase. You can add them progressively, as you identify programmes that interest you.
How do the responses work?
Responses arrive on a rolling basis, as in the main phase:
- Yes or Yes-if: you are admitted, respond within the deadline
- On the waiting list: your application is retained
- No: you have not been selected, continue applying to other programmes
